TO
BE ELIGIBLE, YOU MUST:

|
|
Be entering the 12th grade in a NYC public high school in September 2007 | ||
|
|
Have a GPA of 75% or higher | ||
|
|
Show evidence of a strong interest in Maritime Technology by submitting an essay explaining why you want to enroll in the program. The essay should be, preferrably typed, double space, no more than 2 pages in length | ||
|
|
Be committed to spending four days a week from 9:00 - 2:15 pm at Kingsborough from July 2 through August 2 | ||
|
|
Be prepared to go outdoors in all types of weather and provide your own waterproof footwear and outerwear, notebook and pens | ||
|
|
Submit an application, copy of high school transcript and signed parental trip consent form by Friday, June 8 | ||
