C-CAP Midwinter Workshop

During the Midwinter 2007 Department of Education Spring break, C-CAP high school students enrolled in the College Now/ Culinary Arts program workshop at Kingsborough Community College. This course was offered to C-CAP students interested in developing Culinary and Entrepreneurship skills, and computer skills used in the marketing and management of food and restaurants. All activities took place at Kingsborough in a state-of-the art kitchen facility and taught by a Professional Chef. Under the direction of Professor Thomas Smyth, C-CAP students learned about the culinary arts and the importance of teamwork in the kitchen. |
