Why are Americans so Fat? Two words: fast food. What would happen if you ate nothing but fast food for an entire month? Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock does just that and embarks on the most perilous journey of his life.

About the Host: Dr. Fredric L. Mayerson

Dr. Mayerson is a professor in the Department of Business at Kingsborough Community College. Since his first experience on Wall Street in 1966, he has been interested in investments and financial markets. He has consulted in the financial services industry for the last two decades and recently created a course at Kingsborough entitled "Business Images in the Media".

College Now Director Dr. Rachelle Goldsmith and BA teacher Anthony Composto get ready to welcome students to the BA Film Festival - Super Size Me.
 
College Now students and faculty, along with attendees from the college, packed the KCC Playhouse to see "Super Size Me".
 
Dr. Fred Mayerson, BA Course Coordinator, presents the audience with some thought-provoking ideas about what they eat and how big business markets products.
   
College Now Film Festival Coordinator Karl Dettmer hands out copies of "Fast Food Nation" to five lucky audience members who were sitting in seats marked with stars.
